Great Oaks Adult and Continuing Education offers comprehensive career and technical programs. Courses are designed for those who seek to enter an occupation, desire to upgrade skills in their present occupation, or for professional development. This program accepts adults, recent high school graduates and non-completers who are 16 years or older. Project SEARCH is a unique workforce development program designed for students with disabilities. Because the program is at a hospital or business, you will spend your school day at that site. The program is a one-year program designed to provide you with a variety of worksite experiences in a business/ hospital setting. During the school year you will rotate through two or three different jobs and learn the skills of that career. Each experience will help build the skills you need for the world of work. The goal of the program is a job at that business or somewhere in your local community.
