Melodic Connections provides community music therapy services for all ages and abilities. Our primary goal is to create an environment that prepares our students for their communities and communities for our students. We believe that each voice is unique and every voice will be heard.
Programs at Melodic Connections are led by board certified music therapists. We offer programs in our studio and in the community for individuals of all ages and all abilities. Afternoon classes are offered in adapted keyboard and guitar and voice; as well as innovative classes such as bucket drumming, ukulele jam and boogie beats music and movement.
Classes build music and social skills and offer optional performance opportunities. At "The Art of Being Social" summer camps, students are immersed in a week of music, art and drama as they learn social skills and make friends in a creative and supportive environment.
Our adult conservatory offers opportunities for learning, social development and community engagement. We offer both a day program in our studio and service learning in the community.
Our service learning students meet at locations around the community and engage in vocational learning, volunteering and innovative projects such as developing original podcasts.
Melodic Connections accepts Individual Options Waivers, Level One Waivers, SELF Waivers, TDD Waivers and private pay. Core after school classes are offered for $50 per 12-week session and are designed to make music therapy based services affordable for all who can benefit.
