The 2011 Autism Expo

The Count down has begun!  Only 5 days away!! Here is the rundown of info you will need for the Expo.

Location: Live Oaks Career Development Campus
5956 Buckwheat Road
Milford, Ohio 45150-2287
 
Set-up Friday Night, Sept 23rd
7p.m. -8:30 p.m. OR
Saturday Morning: Starting at 8:30 a.m. -9:30 a.m.

Each Provider /Vendor Table will receive 2 name tags, a plastic table cloth, a table sign, a copy of the 6th Edtion of the Autism Yellow Pages, and a Bottled Water. There will be 2 chairs at your table.

FREE Bagels/Coffee Sat. Morning!

Lunch Vendors/ Bake Sale for Lunch.

Over 36 Cool Raffle Baskets. Thanks to all who donated them!  Make sure you get your raffle tickets!

Families with ASD is very excited that you will be joining us as a vendor table/ or service provider table.  Over the past 5 years, our annual one day FREE Autism Expos have had over 12,000 people in attendance.  We are expecting at least 2,000 people to attend our event this year.

The 2011 Autism Expo has been mentioned on several websites, radio spots, and will be in the Cincinnait Enquirer this Wednesday or Thursday. Help us spread the word. Please send out invites to your families too!

 

Set up time: 
Set up time for the 2011 Autism Expo will begin on Friday, September 23rd starting at 7p.m.  You can pull right up to the front of the building to unload your car.  We will help you find your table and get you started.

If you can not make it on Friday night, no worries.  We will begin set up on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.  We ask ALL Vendors to be at Live Oaks and finished unloading your car/van no later that 9:30 a.m. 

ParkingPLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, after unloading your van/car on Saturday, please move your car to one of the farthest parking spots, leaving the closer parking spots for families with children with autism.  We are expecting  over 2,000 people, and most are going to be families with small/young children or adults with autism. Please be considerate and move your car out as far as you can. At the end of the day, at 4p.m., you can move your car up to the front of the building to load your car.

FREE Bagels/ Coffee:  We will have FREE Bagels and Coffee waiting for you on Saturday morning.  Enjoy!

1 Clean-Up Time: 4p.m. 

Raffle Tickets:
Thanks to all the wonderful organizations that donated a basket to the Expo raffle.  All raffle proceeds will help fund the Autism Family Resource Center by Families with ASD located at 5989 Meijer Drive, Suite 9, Milford, OH.  Raffle tickets will be on sale all day on Saturday.  Get your tickets early!  Good luck!  Also, if your turn in your name badges and table signs at the end of the day you will be entered into a raffle !!

Bathroom Breaks/ Lunch:  Families with ASD will have volunteers on hand to sit at your table so you can take a bathroom break.  We will also have a bottle of water on the table at the beginning of the Expo, and a volunteer will bring by water during the middle of the Expo.

Bake Sale: There will be a bake sale INSIDE the Cafeteria on the back wall.  They will be selling coffee/ soft drinks, snacks, and soup.  If you prefer, outside there will be Food Vendors selling various food items.  You can always pack a lunch if this does not work for you.

Family Event: This is a FREE family event.  If your responsible children would like to volunteer at your table and help you out, please feel free to bring them.  My children will all be there volunteering for Families with ASD.  This event has always been and will always be a family event, so please feel free to bring your family!
