Wendy's Burger Bash for Autism
During the last months of 2009 your Families w/ASD Resource Center established a partnership with Wendy’s restaurants in the Cincinnati area to provide funds for our many family programs. We raised $6,500 during a 5 month period. This year we will be expanding the “Burger Bash” program to include more stores during a 10 month period, and We Need Your Help!
(1) We need more attendance at our events to demonstrate our appreciation to Wendy’s. You would be paying the same rate for your food, but we would be given 15% of your purchase price on the designated event date. A calendar listing the dates by month will become a part of your monthly newsletters. Invite your friends and family to attend to show our appreciation for Wendy’s support of our families with Autism.
(2) We need volunteers for the Burger Bash program. Wendy’s requires someone from our group to be present if patrons have questions. It’s a very easy 2-hour assignment. You discuss Autism when asked, but have the free time to enjoy your current novel or finish knitting that sweater you’re working on.
