Special Needs Ministry Here at Crossroads we believe that God has called us to reach out to people with Special Needs. We interview both students and volunteers to find "buddies" to be paired with the child so that they can have a consistent friend each week at Kid's Club. This "Buddy" helps the child they are paired with to connect with their community of peers and ensures that we are doing everything we can to communicate the message in a manner that these kids can understand. We believe that this arrangement blesses everyone involved! If you would like more information about our amazing Special Needs program please contact Harmony Hensley.

Our Mission: It is possible to be dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with children, youth and adults with disabilities and their families. It is possible for each of us to learn valuable life lessons from those who have a disability. It is possible for people with disabilities to be fully included in the life of the Church. It is possible for us to focus on conforming into the image of Christ and not with conforming into the image of 'normal". It is possible for people with disabilities to minister and serve others as they also are members of the body of Christ who have been equipped by God with spritual gifts. It is NOT possible for us to ignore ministering to those with disabilities and their families, for we have all been ccreated in God's image and have all been fearfully and wonderfully made and God's desire is that none would perish. Dayspring...where ministering to those with disabilites is "Mission Possible".

Who is Friendship Ministries?
Our Mission: To share God’s love with people who have cognitive impairments and to enable them to become an active part of God’s family. Who We Are: Friendship Ministries is a not-for-profit organization that exists to help churches and organizations around the world share God’s love with people who have cognitive impairments. We can provide you with:a model for ministry ,help getting
started materials you can use to learn about God together ,the only Bible study available in Spanish for people with cognitive impairments. What We Believe: Society and the church often ignore the spiritual needs of people who have cognitive impairments. At Friendship Ministries, however, we believe that Everyone is created in God’s image and is deserving of love and justice—both in our society and in our churches. People who have cognitive impairments deserve a chance to know about God and feel God’s love. They also deserve to be treated with respect, and to have friendships with others who know and love God. Redemption is a gift to all. It's a gift from God that is not dependent on a certain level of intelligence. Our church is complete only when it includes all of God’s children and when all people are seen as equals—in God’s eyes and in our own eyes.
