What are Breakout Sessions?

Breakout Sessions are a great way to get an up-close look at service providers and what services they offer families. Breakout Sessions are in a small group, no more than 40 people at a sitting.

How much does it cost to attend a Breakout Session?

Breakout Sessions are always FREE and there is NO registration needed. Space is limited, so it is first come, first served in seating.

How long does a Breakout Session last?

Breakout Session typically last 45 mins. The facilitator will give a talk/ demonstration about the service they provide for the first 30 mins. The next 15 mins is typically used as a question/answer time. The Guest Speaker will then hand out information for families who would like to sign up for a free follow-up meeting at the Autism Center at a later date.

How do I attend a breakout session?

It is easy. All you have to do is come to our Autism Expo, on Saturday, September 24th. Times and classrooms will be posted at the Expo (and soon on the website). Just go to the classroom at the designated time.

Are my kids welcome at the Breakout Session?

Yes, everyone is welcome, including your children, however, they may not like the close quarters. There is a playroom at the Expo that may be a better-suited environment for your child.
