Families with ASD's Autism FREE Day at Kings Island
Families with ASD was able to provide 100 people from our ASD Group FREE Tickets to try out the park. With the high cost of ticket admission, it is hard to try going to a park like Kings Island without the worry of how long your child with autism will be able to stay. Families with ASD was able to allow 100 people from our group to attend a FREE day at Kings Island so those families could enjoy a new community experience without the worry of how long their child could stay. We would LOVE to do this again, but we need sponsors like you! Please consider sponsoring our "Out and About with Autism" group outings!

Helping Families with Autism
Right Here, Right Now
Greg & Julia Smith knew first hand how hard it was to try new
things out in the community with their son, Luke. They never
knew how he would like the activity and if he would be able to make it through the experience without a meltdown from over stimulation. They also had to consider the admission cost of each activity. It is hard to pay a large admission price if you are not sure your child will be able to stay 5 minutes or all day.
So, in 2006, Families with ASD started offering Out & About with Autism Group Outings. Most of the group outings are FREE to families. The outings Families with ASD could not completely pay for, they would subside the cost with the families so it was more affordable for them.
Below are pictures from Families with ASD's Out & About with Autism TM group outings. Please consider sponsoring one of our group outings. Families with ASD likes to offer as many free group outings as possible, and with your kind donation/ sponsorship, we can do more for the families we serve here in OUR community!
