Dear Families,
You are about to view the
Families with ASD's Autism Yellow Pages©. You will find a list of local doctors, therapist, service providers and organizations that work with children and adults on the spectrum.
While Families with ASD is proud to bring all these resources to you, This is a
FREE service we offer families and invite all organizations that work with individuals on the autism spectrum to submit their information to be included for
FREE in our On-Line version. We do not endorse any of the listed providers. This resource guide is here for you to use and we ask that you take the time to choose for yourself the right organization for your family. We encourage you to use your best judgment when choosing a provider.
Please check with your local Better Business Bureau to see if there are any outstanding complaints. We hope this resource guide will help you connect with organizations that will help your family. Remember, you are not alone. We wish your family the best.
Sincerely,
Julia Ann Smith

Food plays an intricate role in our lives. It serves to nourish our bodies, sooth our emotions and comfort our souls. We use food to celebrate, mourn and to show we care.
Unfortunately food allergies and intolerances have run rampant over the recent years and many cannot enjoy these simple pleasures. AJ Creations wants to bring this old fashioned simplicity back to the Greater Cincinnati area. Stop in and pick up some tasty treats that everyone can feel good about eating!
We are a dedicated gluten free bakery. The majority of our items are also dairy/ casein free. Our primary sweetener is Agave syrup not sugar. Agave is all natural and doesn’t cause the blood sugar spike that accompanies most baked goods. Agave does have a low glycemic index so it is not considered sugar free. We also bake with the very heart healthy coconut oil. Although many of our items are “healthier”, they can stand side by side with their unhealthy competition in any forum. Come by and give us a try. We think you will be surprised to find out that you can indulge without the guilt.
AJ Creations wants to transport you to a “Simpler Way of Life”.

Our brothers, Our sisters, Ourselves. We’ve conducted workshops on sibling issues in all 50 states, England, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Guatemala, and New Zealand, and have helped establish over 260
replications of our award-winning Sibshop program in eight countries. Our books for families include
Sibshops, Views from Our Shoes, Living with a Brother or Sister with Special Needs, Uncommon Fathers, The Sibling Slam Book, and Thicker than Water. And our work and publications have been featured in newspapers (Washington Post, New York Times), magazines (Exceptional Parent, Sesame Street Parent, Reader’s Digest), professional publications (JASH, Journal of Pediatric Psychology, The American Academy of Pediatrics News), and television (ABC News’ 20/20, Nightline & World News Tonight and Brazelton on Parenting) across the United States. We’d welcome an opportunity to present at your agency or your next conference or training event. We’ll show you how parents and providers can decrease siblings’ concerns and increase their opportunities, how to create “sibling friendly” services, and even how to start your own Sibshop.

The Families with ASD’s Autism Family Resource Center is proud to be the first of its kind in the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. The center is free and is open year round. The Autism Family Resource Center serves as a point of entry to families new and old to the autism diagnosis.
The front office is used to hand out free information on local and national autism organizations. The computer lab allows families to use the “Writing with Symbols” and “Board Maker” software, so families can create and print out social stories, picture schedules and PECs for absolutely no cost to them. The Autism Sharing Library allows families to check out new and used autism books, CD’s, DVD’s, movies, and sensory items for free. There is also a play room so that children have a place to play while their parents are networking. Our center is family centered and run by volunteers who have been touched by autism.
While we know we do not have all the answers, we will do whatever we can to help you find them. Families with ASD, Helping Families with Autism.

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We are proud of what we've been able to accomplish and look forward to continued successes in the years ahead.
