While Families with ASD is proud to bring all these resources to you, This is a
FREE service we offer families and invite all organizations that work with individuals on the autism spectrum to submit their information to be included for
FREE in our On-Line version. We do not endorse any of the listed providers. This resource guide is here for you to use and we ask that you take the time to choose for yourself the right organization for your family. We encourage you to use your best judgment when choosing a provider.
Please check with your local Better Business Bureau to see if there are any outstanding complaints. We hope this resource guide will help you connect with organizations that will help your family. Remember, you are not alone. We wish your family the best.

My name is D.J. Svoboda. I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. During my school age years I went through some very difficult times. I was often picked on and made fun of. It was from these experiences that The Imagifriends were born. The Imagifriends live in a place called Imagiville. In this imaginary place no one is ever picked on or mistreated in any way. Every- one is loved and accepted for who and what they are. Each Imagifriend that I draw is different. They come in many sizes, colors, and designs. None of them are ever mean or cruel. They each have their own special job and purpose in Imagiville.
I want to use The Imagifriends to help others with Autism know that they are special “Just the Way They Are.” I have designed a coloring book for children and written a book about my experiences with Autism. I also draw Imaginames where I take letters of your name and design an Imagifriend and connect them to make a name. My art was also chosen by The Autism Society of America for their Autism Puzzle Project. I also now have Imagifriend Note Cards and Imagifriend Key Chains. Being Autistic has presented me with many challenges in my life. From those challenges I have learned to never give up. Even those with Autism can make a difference in this world.
I love to travel to different places and events to speak, share my art, and spread my message of acceptance and respect for those with Autism and other disabilities. I make donations to various Autism Organizations and to my wonderful church, Hope Community Church. I want to thank the Lord for giving me the talent to draw. Have a great blessed day everyday.

The Mystery of the Green Stone

Born and raised in southern Ohio, Winifred graduated from Greenhills High School, attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, University of Cincinnati and Art Academy at the Cincinnati Art Museum. A freelance artist, mother of two sons and grandmother of five, she now resides in Fairfield, Ohio, where she is working on her next book and continuing her artwork.
"Often during my life I have attempted to write stories for young children which I could illustrate. Not pleased with my attempts, I would return to my artwork. While searching for a gift for my pre-teen grandson who has Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD and who enjoyed reading dragon fantasies,
I found myself writing this fantasy adventure as if I were taking dictation. I was able to produce a single paperback book as my gift. The enthusiasm my grandson exhibited upon reading the story and the rave reviews from adult family members and friends has encouraged me to share The Mystery of the Green Stone with others.
