At the Autism Learning Center, we have Board Certified Behavior Analysts on staff who create individualized treatment plans based on various assessments we conduct, parent input, and your child’s IEP. We collaborate with our SLP and OT on how to implement goals identified on the treatment plan. Our Behavior Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians then implement the treatment plan continuously throughout the day and across all environments.
While in our program, your child will receive 1 ½ hours of 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis daily, SLP and OT weekly, as indicated on your child’s IEP, and BCBA consultation. Behavior Therapists and Registered Behavior Technician’s create lesson plans, including various activities such as fine motor, gross motor, sensory, crafts, social skills, and swimming that they work on with the children throughout the day when they are not receiving therapy. This occurs at a 2:1 student to staff ratio.
We also offer an inclusion program for children to participate in a neuro-typical preschool classroom. There is a 3:1 student to staff ratio in the class. The therapist acts as an aid in the classroom. Children in this program work on social skills and following classroom directions from the teacher. In the afternoon, we have a Kindergarten prep class. The therapist conducts circle time and has various stations set up to work on pre-academics in a more individualized manner. Children involved in this program receive the same services as listed above. We accept the Ohio Autism Scholarship, private insurance, and Child Care Vouchers. Program Hours: 8am-3pm M-F Now a Year-Round Program!!
